We’ll be posting a series of Notes blog posts about various aspects of software development. For the most part these are meant as internal notes for our reference but if they are helpful to anyone else out there trying to solve a problem then that’s awesome.
Modern software development would look radically different if it wasn’t for the plethora of great resources like Stack Overflow and GitHub. But a critical part of this are the many individual and company blog posts that help provide insight and guidance when tackling challenges. The rapid pace of change in the technology field means there is always something new to learn.
In my experience, most of the time it isn’t just one GitHub issue or one blog post that provides the resolution to a problem or challenge. It’s most often a collection of learnings and bits and pieces from many different developers. We will endeavor to link to original material or posts that helped us on any given problem but sometimes those get lost by the time we get around to writing up our notes on a topic. Apologies in advance if miss linking your helpful post.
